DIVISIONS
Competition Structure
Every team plays a minimum of 3 group stage matches before entering the knockout bracket. Finals are played on Championship Sunday in front of a full crowd and college scouts.
Teams in the Cup bracket compete for the Vertex Cup Miami trophy. Teams in the Shield bracket compete for the Vertex Shield — so every team has a meaningful path to a title regardless of group stage results.
Each team plays 3 group stage matches. Results determine bracket seeding for
knockouts. All age groups run simultaneously.
Top teams advance to the Cup bracket. Remaining teams enter the Shield bracket.
Both paths lead to a championship final.
Cup and Shield semifinal matches held on Saturday. Dedicated college scout
viewing sessions run alongside all semis.
Championship finals for all age groups. Full awards ceremony — trophies, medals,
Golden Boot, MVP & Best GK awards.
