After fourteen years with Everton’s academy Ollie was released in 2014 at age 18. He immediately jumped at the chance to head to the US and attended Clemson University.
After four thriving years at Clemson he attained a degree in Business Administration and was drafted to the MLS by Atlanta United. In 2018 Ollie was part of the MLS league winning squad in Atlanta.Ollie made his transition away from professional football earlier than anticipated and has been working on the commercial side of sport for four years. With INEOS and most recently Everton’s International commercial team.
Ollie is committed to continuing Vertex’s trajectory to a global sporting brand and is passionate about changing young footballers' lives. In 2022 Ollie was awarded the Premier League Academy Alumni Award at a ceremony in London.
