Miles was at Manchester City and Manchester uUnited academy as a youngster and then spent 10 years at the Burnley FC academy. He then went on to attend Furman University on a full scholarship from 2018-2021 and graduated with a degree in communications. During his time in university, Miles was first team all conference, won 3 conference titles, was captain of the men's soccer team for 2 years. He holds the joint record at the university for being one of only two players in the programmes history to start in every single game over 4 seasons. He now plays professionally for Greenville Triumph in South Carolina.
