Juan Carlos Michia is a highly accomplished soccer coach and former professional player with over four decades of experience in the sport. Beginning his coaching journey in 1989, he has since guided and developed players across multiple levels, from youth academies to U.S. National Teams. His extensive tenure with the United States Soccer Federation saw him contribute as an assistant coach for U-14 through U-20 national teams, and as a key figure in the federation’s minority outreach and scouting programs.

Throughout his career, the Argentinian native has held leadership roles with several prestigious organizations, including Weston FC, Inter Miami CF Academy, and the South Florida Select. His expertise extends beyond the sidelines, having served as a Technical Advisor for West Flames SC, a Florida Soccer School Advisor, and a Capelli Soccer Ambassador. His passion for player development and his commitment to fostering talent at every level have made him a respected figure in American soccer.As a USSF A-License coach and instructor since 1992, Michia has taught advanced coaching courses across the United States and led international seminars in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and Germany. Before his coaching career, he enjoyed a distinguished playing career in both the NASL and MISL, representing clubs like Quilmes Athletic Club, Houston Hurricanes, Baltimore Blast, and New York Arrows. His lifelong dedication to the game continues to inspire players and coaches worldwide.
