Jago began his journey in the English academy system at just 8 years old, spending four formative years at Southampton before making the switch to Bristol City. After being released at 18, Jago seized the opportunity to further his career and education in the U.S. by joining the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).During his time at UMBC, Jago has flourished both on and off the pitch. He has played five successful seasons, serving as captain for three of them and gaining invaluable experience. In addition to his college career, Jago played for four USL 2 summer teams, securing three league titles, showcasing his determination and leadership qualities.
Off the field, Jago has earned a degree in Psychology, using his own experiences to develop a passion for helping other young footballers navigate the transition between professional academies and alternative opportunities. Driven by his own journey, Jago is dedicated to assisting others in finding success on and off the pitch.
