Chicago Fire FC has once again reinforced its reputation as one of the leading youth development clubs in the United States, with four players receiving call-ups to various U.S. Youth National Teams during the June international window.
Sergio Oregel Jr., Dylan Borso, Christopher Cupps, and Robert Turdean will each represent the United States at different age-group levels, giving the club representation across four national team squads as preparations continue for upcoming international competitions.
Among the four selections, Robert Turdean continues his rapid rise after an outstanding performance at the 2026 Vertex Cup. Representing the U.S. Under-16 Boys' National Team, the midfielder played a key role throughout the tournament and was named the competition's Most Valuable Player (MVP) following impressive performances against England, Mexico, and Argentina.
His latest selection to the U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team is another important milestone in his development, as he prepares to face Brazil during an international training camp in Natal.
While Turdean continues his international journey, the other three Chicago Fire FC players will also gain valuable experience with their respective national teams.
