Vertex Soccer welcomed Wake Forest Men's Soccer to the UK on our first tour of 2022 and more importantly, our first since the pandemic hit. Below is a highlight video of the 10 day tour.

Wake forest were impressive in the games against their English opposition, going unbeaten during the tour. Wake Forest Men's soccer started off with a 2-2 draw with Salford City U23 then followed that with an impressive result a 4-0 win against Leicester City U23. They also picked up a 3-2 win against a strong Brentford City U23 side to round up the games played.
We aim to not only give the teams/players the opportunity to test their skill against their foreign counterparts, we also look to broaden their horizons and football knowledge where we can. The image to the right was taken during a lecture by then Derby County FC Manager and Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney following a training session at the Derby County FC facilities.
